This woman is straddling the traditions of her culture and the western lifestyle she is continually exposed to. She is smart, intelligent and has a well developed sense of style. She is seeks to improve all aspects of her life. NouveauAfricana magazine celebrates her personal and corporate accomplishments, discusses her fears and concerns, shares her experiences and empowers her by being a resource for education and information. We continue to be a bridge to Africa as she strives for personal growth in today's world. It is a magazine that serves as a source of information, motivation and ideas, in addition to being a link to other African women operating on the same wavelength. At this point, all our writers are volunteers. Writing for Nouveau Africana affords you the opportunity to expand on your writing experience, contribute to your community in a meaningful way and to enjoy the adulation and praise of your contemporaries. All articles should be written from the viewpoint of the contemporary African woman, addressing issues pertinent to her. Humor is encouraged (not required) when appropriate. The editor should be contacted about investigative and or journalistic styled articles prior to submission. Op-ed (opinion) pieces should be focused and thought provoking. Special features (investigative and journalistic) articles should range 150 – 1700 words Op-ed articles can range from 500 to 1500 words All articles submitted may be subject to editing for length and clarity.
