Diaspora in Atlanta
Diaspora,
a new organization founded in November 2003 with the mission of providing
a mechanism for African professionals in the diaspora to network with
each other, contribute to Africa's socio-economic development and to raise
the profile of Africa and Africans around the world held a mixer in February
2004 as an introduction to their organization. It turned out to be a great
opportunity to meet Africans in Atlanta, as countries from Angola to Zimbabwe
were represented.
